7. International Code of Conduct

🌐

Our Commitment to Ethical Business Globally

Proteam Advisory operates across India, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Middle East. We hold ourselves to a single, consistent standard of ethical conduct in every market, regardless of local norms.

Proteam Advisory Solutions LLP is committed to conducting all of its business activities with the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and respect. Our international code of conduct applies to all members, employees, associates, contractors, and representatives acting on our behalf.

Core Principles

  • Integrity: We act honestly and transparently in all business relationships. We do not misrepresent our services, qualifications, or outcomes.
  • Respect for law: We comply with the laws of every jurisdiction in which we operate, including applicable employment law, tax law, sanctions law, data protection law, and competition law.
  • Respect for people: We treat all individuals with dignity, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, religion, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
  • Fair competition: We compete on merit. We do not engage in anti-competitive practices, price-fixing, bid-rigging, or market-sharing arrangements.
  • Conflicts of interest: We identify, disclose, and manage conflicts of interest proactively. Where a conflict cannot be adequately managed, we decline the engagement.
  • Responsible procurement: We select suppliers and partners on the basis of quality, value, and ethical standards, and we expect our supply chain to share our commitment to lawful and ethical conduct.
  • Environmental responsibility: We aim to minimise the environmental impact of our operations, including our use of digital resources and business travel.

Breaches of this code by any person acting on behalf of Proteam Advisory are taken seriously and may result in termination of engagement or referral to the appropriate authorities.

8. Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

⚖️

Zero Tolerance for Bribery and Corruption

We operate a strict no-bribes policy. This applies to all members, staff, contractors, and third parties acting for Proteam Advisory, in every country where we do business.

Proteam Advisory Solutions LLP has a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, in accordance with:

  • The UK Bribery Act 2010
  • The US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)
  • The Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 (India) and associated legislation
  • All applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws in the jurisdictions where we operate

What This Means in Practice

  • We do not offer, give, request, or accept bribes in any form — cash, gifts, hospitality, or any other advantage intended to improperly influence a business decision.
  • Gifts and hospitality may only be exchanged where they are modest, transparent, infrequent, and would not be perceived by a reasonable observer as improper.
  • We maintain accurate and complete financial records. We do not maintain off-the-books accounts or use third parties to conceal payments.
  • We conduct proportionate due diligence on third parties (agents, intermediaries, joint-venture partners) who act on our behalf in higher-risk markets.
  • We do not make facilitation payments, even where these might be considered customary in a particular location.

Reporting Concerns

Anyone who has a concern about a potential breach of this policy — whether by a Proteam member, employee, contractor, or business partner — is encouraged to raise it promptly. Reports may be made to any senior member of Proteam Advisory or via email to vpatel@proteamadvisory.com. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

9. Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

🤝

Our Commitment Against Modern Slavery

Proteam Advisory has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms, within our business and our supply chain.

This statement is made pursuant to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and reflects Proteam Advisory's commitment to ethical employment practices globally. Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to ensuring that it has no place in our business or supply chains.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Proteam Advisory is a professional services business. Our services are delivered by qualified consultants and analysts. Our supply chain is limited in scope and consists primarily of technology platforms, professional services, and office-related suppliers. We do not operate in sectors commonly associated with high modern-slavery risk such as manufacturing, agriculture, or construction.

Our Policies and Practices

  • All members and employees are engaged under written agreements that comply with applicable employment law, including minimum wage requirements.
  • We do not use forced, compulsory, or child labour.
  • We respect workers' rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining where applicable.
  • We conduct background checks on all employees and contractors as appropriate to their role.
  • We assess new suppliers and will not knowingly engage suppliers that use forced or trafficked labour.

Due Diligence and Training

We are aware of the risks of modern slavery in global supply chains and take reasonable steps to identify and address them. We require key suppliers to confirm their compliance with applicable labour and anti-slavery laws. We will continue to develop our due diligence processes as our business grows.

Reporting

If you believe that any person connected with Proteam Advisory is a victim of modern slavery, or that our supply chain may include suppliers that engage in these practices, please contact us immediately at vpatel@proteamadvisory.com. Reports will be taken seriously, investigated promptly, and referred to the relevant authorities as appropriate.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
